If you plan to travel with Delta Airlines booking then you must learn more about its new main cabin service for travel with Delta Airlines in economy class. The American airline has announced, in fact, a new on-board service, with welcome cocktails, hot towels and meals served in a bistro style. The new experience includes a number of attentions and improvements that will delight passengers on long haul flights, including the following.
Delta passengers will be escorted to the gate house by the cabin captain, or main flight attendant, followed by a crew member — ready to greet them at the aircraft door before boarding.
A cocktail to start
Shortly after reaching cruising altitude, MainCabin passengers will receive a welcome cocktail to begin their experience. For its first welcome cocktail, the company chose an Italian classic: Bellini, which is a combination of peach nectar and sparkling wine. This cocktail is known all over the world, is suitable for celebrating and represents a tribute to the roots of Delta, born in the US state of Georgia.
At the start of the flight, passengers can cool off with a warm towel. The same service will be repeated immediately before landing.
Bistro-style lunch and new serving service
for on-board meals, passengers can choose between appetizers and larger dishes, mixing and matching them just like in the restaurant. The traditional tray on which the meal was offered will be replaced by a more elegant and personalized serving service made, for 30%, with organic materials, which includes cutlery without plastic wrap and a new and elegant placemat to use on the table.
Snacks on request, available on long haul flights
In addition to the welcome cocktail and new dining options, Delta offers a new snack basket available anytime after meals. The basket will come with a variety of snacks, such as Cheez-It crackers, OREO, and the carrier’s beloved Biscoff cookies and much more.
During the landing phase, as a sign of thanks for choosing to fly with Delta, passengers will be served chocolates.
It also covers international flights scheduled for 6.5 hours or more, plus a selection of shorter international flights configured with Delta One or Delta Premium classes. So, choose Delta Airlines Book a Flight option and enjoy your flying experience in the most comfortable manner.
